INFORMATION ABOUT SS 1 | |
(29 - Marczyk Miko / Gospodarczyk Szymon): We are trying to understand the car, but for sure we like these stages and we are happy to be here. Tomorrow will be a long day with muddy conditions. I hope this gives me a chance to develop as a driver.
(26 - Somaschini Rachele / Arena Nicola): It was just a mistake earlier today. I tried to avoid a rock and it turned me on my roof. Anyway, the rally is very long. We have a lot of time to learn these roads and conditions.
(25 - Virves Robert / Magalhães Hugo): The rain is not making it any easier so I was really careful. It was a disaster for us - there were two corners where we missed the correct line.
(24 - Linnamäe Georg / Morgan James): Not too great. I didn't feel like I was very comfortable, but we were clean and not sliding too much.
(23 - Cuzma Bogdan / Minor Ilka): It's a beautiful stage - I love the night stages. I don't know the time but the feeling was good. We will try to improve our pace day by day and we'll see what happens.
(22 - Allen Philip / Bowen Dale): Very, very slippery - slippier than I've ever done anyway. But yeah, it was grand! I was obviously lacking a bit of confidence. We're here, so we're happy enough!
(21 - O'Brien Patrick / O'Brien Stephen): I had a stupid roll in qualifying, but the boys in service got it fixed - thanks a lot to them! The real rally starts tomorrow.
(38 - Heikkilä Mikko / Vaaleri Samu): Really, really slippery! Okay, we are safely through and the rally is on. So far, so good.
(20 - Cais Erik / Bacigál Igor): My team repaired the car really well. I tried to be as smooth as possible and it went well. I was quite careful, but the car feels amazing.
(19 - Franceschi Mathieu / Escartefigue Jules): It was not so bad. These were my first donuts in a Rally2 car and I think my grandmother could do the same thing!
(18 - McErlean Joshua / Hoy Brian): It was quite a horrible run to be honest, but it's good to get through. We're looking forward to the action tomorrow.
(17 - Jeets Gregor / Taniel Timo): It was quite a tough day with a roll from nowhere. That's rally! The good news is that we are here and the car is ready to race. We are trying to get back the feeling and tomorrow we will see.
(16 - Mareš Filip / Bucha Radovan): I took it quite carefully to be honest. I did a mistake in the first corner but overall it was a good start for us and I hope we can produce some good stage times during the weekend.
(15 - Sesks Mārtiņš / Francis Renārs): I had to be really careful. I think we touched something so it was not so easy. It wasn't the best stage.
(14 - Fontes José Pedro / Ponte Ines): It was okay - better than expected. I had to be careful but it was okay. No mistakes.
(12 - Araújo Armindo / Ramalho Luís): It's very exciting. We have a lot of top drivers here and it will be a fantastic challenge for us. I know the rally very well but it will be difficult for all of us. Let's see what happens tomorrow.
(11 - Wagner Simon / Winter Gerald): I thought there was less grip, but in the end it was quite fine. It was enjoyable. I hope there will be a lot of rain tomorrow.
(33 - Tidemand Pontus / Thulin Julia): I was just careful on this stage. Nothing dramatic. I think tomorrow it will be hard.
(10 - Battistolli Alberto / Scattolin Simone): Last year I made too many mistakes, so this year is a clear improvement of my driving in these conditions! This event will be tough, but we'll do our best.
(9 - Campedelli Simone / Canton Tania): The most difficult thing tonight was the road surface. It was extremely wet and so slippery. I touched the wall last year, so I arrived at that corner like my mother - I was so careful!
(8 - Tempestini Simone / Itu Sergiu): It's okay. It's quite narrow and tricky, but tomorrow the real rally starts and it will be really interesting. Let's have a good one.
(7 - Bonato Yoann / Boulloud Benjamin): I expected it to be more difficult than it was. We found some grip, but maybe not enough!
(36 - Mabellini Andrea / Lenzi Virginia): It was very difficult! Very slippery in here, so we didn't take any risks. Tomorrow will be tough for sure, but we are enjoying our time in this Škoda! Going from a Rally4 car to this is like a dream for us and we are really happy to be here.
(5 - Østberg Mads / Barth Patrik): It was quite okay but it was quite slippery and I had no idea what it would feel like on the cobblestones and the Tarmac. I just had to feel it a bit, but everything is okay. I don't like to lose time, but I think 1.8sec won't matter too much tomorrow!
(4 - Kristensson Tom / Johansson Andreas): There was better grip than I was expecting. It was a clean run with no big dramas. We are here and tomorrow the proper work is starting.
(3 - Breen Craig / Fulton James): It was fairly atrocious to be honest. Today felt nice and I found the feeling in the car already this morning. When it's so narrow and tricky in here, there was no point taking any risks. We're all set and ready for tomorrow - and I'm fit for bed now!
(2 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): No risks at all! With the cobblestones, you don't know how much grip there's going to be, so you're definitely playing it on the safe side. A good run and a good warm-up for tomorrow.
(1 - Llarena Efrén / Fernandez Sara): It's really difficult. We knew it would be slippery, but it's much more slippery than we expected. For sure, we took it easily - but it's done and we can breathe! |
