| INFORMATION ABOUT SS 11 | |
(139 - Falcón Emma / Larrode Carlos):
retired after SS 11 | |
(107 - Burri Michaël / Moreau Gabin):
retired after SS 11 | |
| (107 - Burri Michaël / Moreau Gabin): was out of road | |
(128 - Correia João / Ferreira Janela):
retired in SS 11 | |
(35 - Al Rajhi Yazeed / Orr Michael):
It’s rather slippery. In some stretches there’s plenty of dust and gravel, and that complicates the driving.
(32 - Wiegand Sepp / Christian Frank):
The stage was difficult. Finishing second in the WRC2 is fine for me. I prefer not to take any more risks.
(74 - Kubica Robert / Baran Maciej):
It was extremely tricky. I made some mistakes, but I really want to finish the rally for the WRC2 championship.
(23 - Al-Kuwari Abdulaziz / Duffy Killian):
I tried to do my best, but it was impossible in these conditions.
(10 - Al Qassimi Khalid / Martin Scott):
I had a really rough time. I had trouble with the dust and the sun shining in my face. We have to nearly almost stop several times.
(9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Markkula Mikko):
It was a tricky stage, but our notes were perfect. Starting later works to our advantage. I’m very happy with the result. It is a good rhythm, it is hard to see some times with the dust. Really precise notes, I am really happy with my recce, just one more stage then service.
(21 - Prokop Martin / Ernst Michal):
It is really crazy and dangerous, I was out of the road and I did not know I was out of the road. On the long straight, I had to stop and find out where the road. It is not moving and the sun is coming through the dust and I could not see the road.
(22 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John):
There is certainly a lot of dust. This car is great but it is different, I cannot get a feel at all. We have not done any testing so are trying to feel our way in.
(4 - Østberg Mads / Andersson Jonas):
We kept the car moving, but nearly in a few places. It is difficult to take risks now in my position, I cannot catch anyone.
(2 - Hirvonen Mikko / Lehtinen Jarmo):
You cannot do anything about it, that is what the conditions are. Some places you cannot see anything, you have to almost stop completely. I pushed to the limit, and more. It was really complicated, because the notes were not perfect. It is ridiculous.
(5 - Novikov Evgeny / Minor Ilka):
Very difficult, I try to do my best, but in some parts of the stage it was very dusty and very sunny, I could not see. Where it was clear I try to push and do my best.
(8 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien):
I have to trust so much the notes, so many times I am completely lost and I do not know the places. I can tell you without the dust, we will be much more faster.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas):
You cannot see nothing, it is so dangerous, you cannot see nothing, it is very very dangerous. It should not be like this. We punctured. I don’t know where I punctured. I got the sun in my face and the dust when I went into a 6th gear corner, and it was really complicated.
(3 - Sordo Dani / Del Barrio Carlos):
There was a lot of dust at the end. Long straight, just flat flat flat, but you cannot see the end. At the beginning it was very nice, but afterwards I lost my place for the dust. It is easy to make a mistake. But it is ok. I pushed wherever I could, but in the last kilometres I lost a few seconds due to the sun and the suspended dust.
| (11 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas): puncture | |
(7 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka):
At the moment it looks like Sordo is coming pretty well. I was struggling with the sun it was coming with my eyes. Even I had some problem with the dust through the sun. I had problems with the car in some hill jumpings, and the sun in the face bothered me, but it was the same for all of us.
