| INFORMATION ABOUT SS 16 | |
(21 - Rossel Léo / Mercoiret Guillaume):
It's amazing. Tomorrow the plan is easy: first Yohan, second me. It was easier yesterday and I'm happy with the rhythm today. Tomorrow is just four stages, but this rally is always hard.
(30 - Cachón Alejandro / Rozada Borja):
I always try to catch the guy in front. Tomorrow the stages are quite fast. If it's clear in the morning, I think they will be sleeping and I will try to close the gap. Now we'll prepare for stages tomorrow.
(28 - Gryazin Nikolay / Aleksandrov Konstantin):
All okay. So different from the first pass. So difficult in some places to avoid the cuts because the line is going through the cuts. I have lines that say not to cut so I don't cut. Not feeling perfect, but okay.
(29 - Rossel Yohan / Dunand Arnaud):
It was a good Saturday. The plan is to do the same Sunday. Maybe more easy tomorrow in the dirty parts, if you cut you immediately puncture. Just keep focused.
(5 - Pajari Sami / Salminen Marko):
We are still on the podium, we should be happy for that. I'm not able to find many positives about this afternoon. Tomorrow is another day. Never know, of course I'm gutted.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn):
It has just clicked this weekend. We have something we are confortable with and we are able to fight with the guys. This weekend I really feel good in the car and I'm enjoying it.
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron):
It was a big shame because we were let's say really trying to manage it well. It went quite well but then unfortunately the puncture happend. It was a lottery. Even on some gravel rallies we have not seen so many stones.
(20 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John):
It started off alright but then we had to change the plan a bit. We have been walking on egg shells. It is diffiicult when you are driving to avoid a puncture.
(55 - McErlean Joshua / Treacy Eoin):
I'm not sure if you've seen the rear left at the moment, but basically that's from the second stage of the loop and we've had to jump-start the car after every refuel. No one's gave up in the team, even in the tyre fitting zones and Eoin especially - to do the job he's doing at the moment to try and manage it. Maybe the time sheets don't say all the work that's been to get here, but yeah, it's a nice relief to come with everything in white and no red dials on my dash.
(95 - Armstrong Jon / Byrne Shane):
The beginning was quite narrow with some cuts, but for sure on the wide roads, difficult to get a rhythm with the soft tyres. I don't know what mixture Elfyn had, but yeah, it's difficult to stop them from sort of sliding and overheating, but still a good time. I mean, it's never bad if you're that far away from these guys, so. Okay, we can keep learning and we'll keep getting closer, so that's what we'll try to do.
(99 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott):
Just a puncture. I don't know. It was a bit strange, but it's okay. I've won the other stages, so in that sense, it's good.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott):
Yeah, I guess it was a puncture [for Solberg]. Puncture risk is massive in here, and especially today. It's been huge, so yeah, a lot of drama out there.
