It's cool to have the first win here, Latvia is an important place for me. Big thanks to Jonne Halttunen and the team, we have been a bit stronger than we expected. I think Finland will be a challenge. We are gonna enjoy this one and then work hard in Finland.

He may know the roads and be on the roads but nobody can take his driving away and whatever is the outcome, the podium on the first time would've been great but it only makes him harder and stronger, fair play to him. He has made us push, so well done to him.

We had an issue on the last stage which we need to investigate. In terms of starting position, it was a difficult rally. We'll see in Finland, we'll come back stronger.

The weekend was always going to be difficult with the position we had. We didn't do a bad job Friday and a little bit better on Saturday.

Being patient, knowing we didn't have much chance this weekend. This was the worst rally ever in terms of cleaning. And lots of fast drivers in the field.

Hopefully we can find what it is, on Friday we had some good pace. After that it is what it is but it's still some good kilometres in the bag for Finland.

There's been a few tough rallies but it is amazing to be back on speed. The car has been working well over the weekend, thanks to the team for keeping it up to speed. Winning here in Latvia is emotional, I have won here before. So thank you to everyone.

It was quite like I didn't take any risks, but again the third part of the stage was difficult. Very big thank you to the team and our engineer Felix, everything worked so well. Quite happy at the moment.

The season has been really good for us and we still have really solid points with the podium here. Not to be disappointed but we always do our best and I am not fully satisfied from it. It was really good for the future and it was a really good event, so thank you to the fans. With Rally1 it should be good fun, I am really looking forward to Finland. Off on holiday in between as it has been really hectic, but should be really, really fun.

We're not quite where we want to be at the minute but we have a busy week ahead with testing for Finland. I'm going to have to put a stint in for the rest of the season.

We still need to fix some things to keep the pace for the entire weekend, but it's good for us.

We had dinner with Mike Chen last night and he said to go on these tyres, so I guess he made sense! It's been a really positive weekend. First time driving on these kind of roads and codriver Liam has done a good job, so massive thanks to Motorsport Ireland as well.

We are happy because this is the last stage and we didn't push too much. We are really happy as we improved a lot from Rally Poland. We are improving step-by-step.

We are driving with big risks but it is not easy to push against the guys. With the second spare we don't really benefit in this loop. With this weight we cannot be the best. The team needs the points, but there are three other team-mates also. It is quite difficult conditions, but we will try our best.

21. 07. 2024 14:13 21. 07. 2024 13:13 CET	18	(32 - Creighton William / Regan Liam): We got into a good rhythm on the first one, this one is probably not great but the time is probably not so bad I'd say. Let's see what Daprà does but it didn't feel like it was too tidy a stage.

The first one was nice with the feeling in the car, but this one we have no grip at all. One moment I went straight, then just outside. I was not able to keep the car in the line. This car was Monte Carlo WRC2 22' winner.
21. 07. 2024 14:12 21. 07. 2024 13:12 CET	18	(26 - Zaldivar Fabrizio / Der Ohannesian Marcelo): To be honest, it is quite a tricky stage for a Sunday but at the end you really enjoy it. It's quite tricky, really narrow road. More or less okay run, but then we have the Wolf Power Stage.

For me, the grip wasn't so bad. It's going to be rutted on the second pass and the edges of the road are dropping away.

This year Sunday is big for the team points. This was a tricky stage, we know it is the Wolf Power Stage later on, but this was really bad. No feeling in the car whatsoever.

We try and go for a win everytime, but we're gonna try for a Power Stage win.

21. 07. 2024 14:08 21. 07. 2024 13:08 CET	18	(4 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): It's a nice stage, feels very difficult not to drive, but we have some lines until the mid corner then the line disappears and you lose the grip, so big moments. It's very challenging to be on the pace and not to risk everything at the same time.
21. 07. 2024 14:08 21. 07. 2024 13:08 CET	18	(13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): It's really different style, the beginning is really dusty, narrow in the forest, then the second part is a bit faster with a couple of chicanes and a rallycross bit at the end. I think the second part will be very harsh on the tyre, but we will see.

We are here to help the team so we need to bring some points for Sunday, personally it's not so fun when you're in a good lead and you want to fight for the win but we can do both.

I thought with Rally2 you go flat out there, with Rally1 you probably do not! It's still three stages to go and we have done good times but we still need to keep doing that. These beautiful stages, fast part is just amazing.

Car is not turning, car is not accelerating on the exits. We had a good stage. It's positive to be quicker behind, but it is a disadvantage to be early on the road. I tried hard definitely.

The grip is really poor, in many corners I gave everything we had. We tried. Just before the finish there is a massive water splash with a lot of mud, so that is why it's dirty I guess.

I don't manage to keep the car in the line so I went a bit sideways. I tried to use the maximum width of the road when available, so let's see what the others can do.

I don't really have the diffs set up for donuts right now, normally I love donuts but today I can't do them!

It's quite hard to start because you hear through the door, the cheering. Plan for tomorrow? Drive, drive and drive all four stages.

Not much more we could do today, car was working trouble-free. Generally satisfied with the setup. It was a good day with the car.

It is good for the training to be on the pushing side. We are going to the city stage and my wife is waiting for me there, so I have to do some nice driving.

It's good to hear we are in the area where we can make a difference, on a nice stage. Quite happy with the driving and everything, for that I am happy. In the morning I lost some time on the first two or three stages, but other than that it is quite nice.

None of the things we tried out from Rally2 for driving here, it is the complete opposite. Liepaja Street Stage will be fun, last year we did it wet. More grip more fun! We have tyres we can burn now.

I was not struggling at all with the tyres, I was struggling with the lines, the push and the commitment was not enough. The tyres were okay.
