INFORMATION ABOUT SS 18
(32 - Creighton William / Regan Liam): We got into a good rhythm on the first one, this one is probably not great but the time is probably not so bad I'd say. Let's see what Daprà does but it didn't feel like it was too tidy a stage.
(23 - Gryazin Nikolay / Mālnieks Andris): I stopped twice, I don't have any grip on this stage. The first one was nice with the feeling in the car, but this one we have no grip at all. One moment I went straight, then just outside. I was not able to keep the car in the line. This car was Monte Carlo WRC2 22' winner.
(26 - Zaldivar Fabrizio / Der Ohannesian Marcelo): To be honest, it is quite a tricky stage for a Sunday but at the end you really enjoy it. It's quite tricky, really narrow road. More or less okay run, but then we have the Wolf Power Stage.
(24 - Greensmith Gus / Andersson Jonas): Car was better in there, we gave away the time with some bad brakings but other than that it's fine. For me, the grip wasn't so bad. It's going to be rutted on the second pass and the edges of the road are dropping away.
(21 - Pajari Sami / Mälkönen Enni): I'm trying to push and I try to keep some pressure on Heikkilä, trying not to let him go easily. The stage is soft but really fun for me.
(27 - Heikkilä Mikko / Temonen Kristian): It's quite class, hopefully Pajari will not be any faster. The first part of the stage was really tricky for me, after that I was struggling quite a lot but the second part was very good.
(20 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): Very, very slippery! Very narrow and very tricky. I saw some people ending up in ditches already, so very tricky. I just enjoyed myself, having a calm nice Sunday.
(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): It's not so easy, we have a big gap so you don't want to mess anything up for the win. This year Sunday is big for the team points. This was a tricky stage, we know it is the Wolf Power Stage later on, but this was really bad. No feeling in the car whatsoever.
(17 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): It's been okay, so far it is a good loop for us. Two stages to go!
(22 - Sesks Mārtiņš / Francis Renārs): We made a big mistake which cost many seconds. In a junction we went so wide and lost many seconds for sure.
(8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): This whole rally we haven't been able to find a good rhythm. I try my best, I push hard. The flow is missing, that's all.
(16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): I just went wide on a fast left corner, so I just slowed down too much in this corner then after we were on a straight so we probably lose one or two seconds. We try and go for a win everytime, but we're gonna try for a Power Stage win.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): Equally difficult to Neuville, the way the stage is shaping up. We have to try and do what we can.
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): Bit of cleaning for sure, felt much better than the morning. First one was disaster, it was so bad. I feel at least a proper feeling. Quite a nice stage, we can enjoy.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): In these conditions, it won't suit us. Nothing we can do.
(4 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): It's a nice stage, feels very difficult not to drive, but we have some lines until the mid corner then the line disappears and you lose the grip, so big moments. It's very challenging to be on the pace and not to risk everything at the same time.
(13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): It's really different style, the beginning is really dusty, narrow in the forest, then the second part is a bit faster with a couple of chicanes and a rallycross bit at the end. I think the second part will be very harsh on the tyre, but we will see. |
