INFORMATION ABOUT SS 8 | |
(68 - Smart Max / Fair Cameron): accident in SS 8
(25 - Linnamäe Georg / Morgan James): It's much better when you don't crash and get a puncture so big improvement. Much more cautious in the corner than last time for sure.
(24 - Joona Lauri / Hussi Janni): It's really nice to have a battle with Jari-Matti. This stage was really nice but two times I hit bedrock. I don't know if we have something wrong but it was quite hard.
(23 - Solans Jan / Sanjuán Rodrigo): Not a good day for us, we're having pop-off problems all the time and I don't have power on the straights so it is difficult to value my improvement on this rally. It is frustrating like this.
(22 - Gryazin Nikolay / Aleksandrov Konstantin): It's good because this stage I raced in Richard Burns Rally. I cannot say I remember it for sure, but I remember how to do it on the game. In real life, you do it like this and it is more or less the same than in the game.
(20 - Rossel Yohan / Barral Florian): It's crazy. I've never seen it like that before, when you are on a 90, full wet, aqua planing. I don't understand why these guys enjoy these conditions, they are crazy for sure. I don't like these conditions and I don't think my car does also.
(21 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): It's the coolest road in the world, I'll probably say the same about Ouninpöhja tomorrow, hopefully it doesn't dry out for the guys behind. There are some big jumps. It's just a rollercoaster, with massive jumps and long corners and a fantastic flow to it. Beautiful.
(5 - Pajari Sami / Mälkönen Enni): It's quite extreme I would say, really nice stage but so demanding in many places. Still for me there was so many places with standing water so I was really careful. I really felt I was very fast.
(13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): The balance is good. Struggling with another issue, we will look at it on service.
(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): I don't know if the rain makes a big difference, I had a really good stage and I was pushing also. The condition was not optimal. It was a really good stage but the time is not so good.
(16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): I like this stage to be fair, I'm quite happy with my pace, it was hard to know what to do on the corners, sometimes I was slowing down too much but it's okay.
(17 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): You have no option you just go for your line and pray for the best. It is okay stage, it is good fun. In a fight it is okay, we lost a bit of ground but we do what we can. The commitment needs to be at 100 percent, two years missing here make it more challenging. In Finland, there are not so many guys who can follow the 100 percent of Kalle Rovanperä.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): It was alright, looks like the time is not so brilliant but no problem. Tricky to judge how much the standing water will affect the car.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): Pace was good, lots of standing water and the ruts were full of water in places. Nothing we can do. |
