INFORMATION ABOUT SS 18
(21 - Pajari Sami / Mälkönen Enni): I think if a couple of seconds quicker behind then it is fine. I think it is a bit rough on the tyres, little bit slippery. Other than that, it's fine.
(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): It's quite enjoyable on the second pass. I think we are in trouble with the soft tyres, luckily the last one is not long but the hards would be better on this loop. The Super Sunday gap is too big, the Power Stage is in rough condition and Ott Tänak will be taking all the risks there and I wouldn't want to take them.
(9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Eriksen Torstein): It is not perfect, but we are just cruising and making sure to get the car to the finish in one piece. It is a proper Sunday drive. It is not so enjoyable at the moment, we just want to get the car to the finish in one piece. Looking forward to it being over to be honest.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): Fourmaux is going well, it was an okay run for us, it is a very high pace right now. Not sure the tyre choice was right, but okay.
(16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): We need to get some extra points on the Wolf Power Stage now. I was just flat out on the stage, I think we made two mistakes but it was really committed. I told you at the beginning of the rally, I live my life one stage at a time.
(22 - Sesks Mārtiņš / Francis Renārs): The front was going everywhere, so now I think I understand how downforce works! It is like when you have small parts, it goes up and in small corners there is a little understeer. Great experience! Still one stage to go.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): Obviously in the position we are it is a bit risky to go faster. It is the approach I feel most comfortable with at the moment. A few places we could've gone a bit faster, but had to take care of the tyres in there.
(13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): It's a really tricky stage, very narrow. Much more rutted than the first pass and sometimes it kicks you out of the line. You don't have too much margins, left or right. A tricky one; just damage limitation. I don't want to lose too much to Katsuta.
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): Not too much braking, like using soft tyres.
(8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): In this condition we can feel good. There is a solid line but a little layer loose on top of everywhere. I did a good stage, but many places it wasn't perfect so. Not easy. |
