INFORMATION ABOUT SS 14
(15 - Virves Robert / Drew Craig): To be honest, it felt to me we were not moving as fast so it was not a surprise we gave away the time. We had no traction at all and the rear was always slipping away. Our rally we can be happy with, because we were quicker than all the FIA ERC competitors through the weekend. We would like to win it, but Linnamäe is the next one I'd want to win it, so it's fine.
(2 - Franceschi Mathieu / Malfoy Andy): Penalty 10 sec for missed chicane (added to the stage time).
(12 - Linnamäe Georg / Morgan James): I can't believe it. It's the most brave stage I've done in my life. We knew our tyre choice would pay off on this one.
(12 - Linnamäe Georg / Morgan James): I gave it everything I had. It was just crazy, I think I had a moment in about every corner. At least we didn't make it too easy for Virves if he gets it but it has been a great battle, the most fun I've ever had in a rally car.
(14 - Gryazin Nikolay / Mālnieks Andris): I completely lost the feeling, we have some hard tyres so maybe that wasn't working but still. The feeling from the road was super slippery. I would like to push but when you don't understand what is happening it makes no sense to push.
(4 - Østberg Mads / Barth Patrik): The stage fits in the toilet! The conditions are crazy, I am even sweating! Maybe sometimes we have to work but it was good fun, we had to push, it was raining quite heavily and lots of standing water. We had a clean run and tried not to make mistakes.
(6 - Marczyk Miko / Gospodarczyk Szymon): It was very tough stage and we got safely through. We had used tyres on the rear, I was trying not to push too much. I am happy with the performance of the first day, unfortunately we couldn't get it today but it is what it is and I am happy with the pace.
(1 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): Probably a little bit better in places to be fair, we had a moment at the start and after that I backed right out of it. It is better to bring back some points, considering we were potentially out of the rally at SS2, it's good to come back and finish above our rivals.
(7 - Armstrong Jon / Treacy Eoin): It's always so tough when it rains like this in Estonia. I've been in this stage before with rain, thankfully at the start I had confidence but at the end it gets quite slippery. Seventh place at the end is quite good especially with our issues, thanks to M-Sport and Motorsport Ireland Rally Academy.
(8 - Mabellini Andrea / Lenzi Virginia): One of the worst experiences of my life, it was never-ending. This one was tough. I think that I must be happy to be here. It was incredibly slippery. The race is done, we had a clean run, I want to thank everybody for being here and to support us in this championship. We are improving a lot in these fast-gravel events and now we go back to asphalt in Rome.
(18 - Jeets Gregor / Taniel Timo): I had many slides, this road position wasn't on our side. Also in some places I am too aggressive with this kind of weather, but good practice. I hope to be back next time.
(2 - Franceschi Mathieu / Malfoy Andy): Completely crazy. At the beginning it was okay, but from 8km to the end; no grip, aqua-planing, I lost one junction to the end. I'm so slow and I'm off. It's the end of a difficult rally, now it is time to rest and think and understand how we can come back stronger. This weekend was difficult, but you can believe in me.
(16 - Asunmaa Teemu / Mannisenmäki Ville): It is a lot of weather, it was terrible. We have good luck because there is no competition anymore, we planned to drive safely but there is still some moments. We got absolutely nothing from the braking.
(2 - Franceschi Mathieu / Malfoy Andy): missed junction
(2 - Franceschi Mathieu / Malfoy Andy): missed chicane
(16 - Asunmaa Teemu / Mannisenmäki Ville): spun
