INFORMATION ABOUT SS 16
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): It was a challenging stage in there and I wasn't sure I had done enough. The time is good so I'm happy with that. It's a relief but it's a shame for Elfyn as well. The fight was enjoyable and now it's over, but we still need to be careful.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): I was probably a tad wide in a right-hander. The notes were correct but I didn't get them as early as I needed to slow the car down in time. There was nothing I could do.
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): Never happy to hear a team-mate is having issues. We need to survive.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): puncture
(1 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): We are just driving and keeping a decent rhythm until the end of the rally. This one was very difficult - a lot of leaves and a lot of grip changes.
(44 - Greensmith Gus / Andersson Jonas): Four hard tyres would be the ultimate in there. We're just looking forward to what might come and just driving slow and protecting the tyres. We're entering the window of whether the rain's going to come or not.
(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): We found some things on the car which are nice to drive. It's not so bad. The surface on this one was trickier than we expected - I was expecting it to be more consistent but there were some grip changes and damp places as well.
(42 - Breen Craig / Fulton James): Maybe it's because I'm driving very slow, but in the last 7km there is no grip on the moss and it's so difficult to see it. Incredibly difficult. |
