INFORMATION ABOUT SS 9
(21 - Fourmaux Adrien / Jamoul Renaud): was out of road
flash info (20 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Fløene Ola): What an amazing stage - I wish I could be really flat out! We are so far behind Lappi so we just went in cruise mode.
flash info (25 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): I don't know how to describe it for people who haven't driven a rally car. It feels so great and the conditions are so good on the first pass.
flash info (8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): It's easier to just think about the driving and not the gaps. Let's see - the next time through is more important.
flash info (69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): I was not so good in there. It has been quite difficult this weekend - the pace is not what it should be and I am struggling in many places with the car. We will fight back on the last one.
flash info (11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): I don't know To be honest, we did a good stage but my pace notes were a bit slow. It's really tricky to commit to the pace notes so I was maybe a bit careful, but I tried my best.
flash info (42 - Breen Craig / Nagle Paul): There was an oil leak in the morning, mechanics changed gearbox in 15 minutes service. I wish I could pay back the guys the right way - they did an amazing job this morning and I didn't deliver for them.
flash info (33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): It's a fast stage, that's for sure. For me, the grip at the start was really surprising and much higher. I was probably a bit too careful at the start, but we adapted and were able to find some good pace.
flash info (2 - Solberg Oliver / Marshall Sebastian): I was way too careful in the beginning. In the middle I could get loose and get the feeling again. We just enjoyed it and we will see what we can do in the Power Stage.
flash info (18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Barritt Daniel): Yeah - a clean run. Conditions are very nice and I enjoyed a lot. In some places I was a bit careful because some snow has changed since the recce. I will push hard in the Power Stage.
flash info (3 - Suninen Teemu / Markkula Mikko): I had a pretty good feeling - a couple of moments but that's it. I am doing my best and that's all I can do.
flash info (44 - Greensmith Gus / Edmondson Elliott): Not very good then. I think my pace notes were a long way out for this stage. Sometimes too fast, sometimes too slow, so we need to have a look at them and change them.
flash info (1 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): What else can I do? We will give everything we have to try and catch some points, but if we get some points it will not be many I think.
flash info (7 - Loubet Pierre-Louis / Landais Vincent): It was nice. The grip was much high than yesterday, I don't know if it's because I was opening the road. The feeling was nice.
flash info (37 - Bertelli Lorenzo / Scattolin Simone): It was a fantastic stage - I didn't have any lines to follow but I enjoyed it. It was not a perfect run for me but I'm happy to be here - it's a shame about yesterday.
retired (12 - Tuohino Janne / Hämäläinen Reeta): health problems before SS 9
(12 - Tuohino Janne / Hämäläinen Reeta): Janne Tuohino will not start today. The Finn slipped and fell over yesterday evening and injured his shoulder.
Early fog has lifted to reveal sunny skies, with current temperatures around -4°C.
