(52 - Tempestini Simone / Chiarcossi Matteo): I did not have the right notes, the road is narrower because of the snow.
(22 - Duez Marc / Vyncke Steven): It is more about survival, I can’t follow the pace.
(20 - Delecour François / Savignoni Dominique): It is wonderful, very athletic, I like it this way! It is very slippery, I love it!
(40 - Hirschi Jonathan / Landais Vincent): It was very difficult, I did not expect such conditions but I did not make any mistake.
(23 - Dumas Romain / Giraudet Denis): I stalled twice, I was overtaken. We were late for service park, we could only change two tyres and we had to change the other two on the road.
(33 - Giordano Quentin / Sarreaud Valentin): In a straight portion, I went off the road. It is my first stage with this car and I had never driven on snow.
(43 - Koči Martin / Kostka Lukáš): I would never have imagined such a stage; I did my best to remain on the tracks.
(36 - Maurin Julien / Klinger Nicolas): Almost full ice everywhere, little grip. I tried to drive very carefully. Not an easy one to start the rally. The engine stalled because of the gear, I’m glad I could keep on.

(18 - Chardonnet Sébastien / De La Haye Thibault): After four or five corners I found some snow and hit a big stone on the right rear. It was difficult to get the car through the stage. I don't know if we can continue tonight.

(4 - Loeb Sébastien / Elena Daniel): A lot of dry, humid, wet, it was completely full of ice everywhere. I say to Daniel, it feels like we are stopped in places. No information about splits, happy for this time.
(16 - Kubica Robert / Szczepaniak Maciej): We have one moment, we hit on the braking there was a lot of ice, I could not down shift the gear so we went straight.
(6 - Tänak Ott / Mõlder Raigo): Not easy, so difficult, but we did not have any moments. For me it is so difficult, but I feel so good to be back in a factory team. I just try to be as relaxed as possible.
(15 - Bouffier Bryan / Panseri Xavier): I did not expect it was going to be so slippery. I have two moments and one I was very lucky. Happy to be here, but for the first stage it is very difficult.
(8 - Sordo Dani / Martí Marc): I lost time in the first split, I brake too late in a slippery place and I go straight. I stall the engine and it was difficult to go out of the ditch, I lost a lot of time.
(21 - Prokop Martin / Tománek Jan): Difficult to explain how difficult it it is. Quite clean run, just hit a barrier or something on the side of the road, nothing serious. When you try to go faster you have no chance to slow down. It is completely frozen the road, everything is really slippy.
(3 - Meeke Kris / Nagle Paul): Conditions are really tricky, but I am happy.
(8 - Sordo Dani / Martí Marc): was out of road, stalled engine
(7 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas): Horrible to drive, it was my first time in those conditions. I really struggle a lot, I try to be not sliding a lot, very smooth. My aim is to go to the finish, I have to keep it very calm and safety.
(12 - Østberg Mads / Andersson Jonas): Tricky, is probably the wrong word to use, they have not invented the word for this stage yet. I was relaxed, enjoyed the driving and tried to avoid the mistakes.
(9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Fløene Ola): Very tricky, I try to go with no risk, drive with a clever pace. Not easy at all. It is going to get better and better for sure for drivers following, we will do as good a job as we can from the front.
(2 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): If we only lose 16 seconds this is not so bad. The conditions are very demanding, these conditions, you can lose minutes. So difficult to get the confidence, changing grip. I have never seen these conditions in Monte.
(1 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): Almost full ice everywhere. Quite little grip, but we try to start very carefully, not so much risk for us in this one. Not an easy one to start the rally. No doubt that you need studs.
