LK informatsioon SHAKEDOWN
flash info (11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): In our second run, we had a driveshaft issue at the beginning of the stage. While we were driving slowly, trying to just drive out of the stage, we had a suspension failure. Caused or not by the driveshaft, I don’t know yet. I need to speak to the team, they are analyzing. Maybe the driveshaft started to flap and it cut the wishbone, so we need to find out. Obviously the footage is very visible. We are driving slowly and suddenly the car pulls me into the ditch. So it came a bit of a surprise.
(44 - Cobbe Luciano / Bianchi Davide): another jump start
(44 - Cobbe Luciano / Bianchi Davide): jump start
retired (24 - Jürgenson Romet / Oja Siim): engine issues before shakedown
retired (11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): broken wheel on shakedown
(23 - Daprà Roberto / Guglielmetti Luca): small off the road
flash info (95 - Armstrong Jon / Byrne Shane): My nerves are not too bad but obviously it is tricky rally to start with. It is my first time here so there are a lot of new pace notes on recce and a lot of things to learn with the tyres and the car. It was a steady run and I'm still finding my rhythm but the time doesn't look terrible.
flash info (20 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): It was just a small moment. I got to get a bit of a feeling. This is going to be a tough rally and we are in the deep end.
(20 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): stalled engine at the bridge
flash info (55 - McErlean Joshua / Treacy Eoin): There is one hell of a challenge ahead. This is nice proper tarmac road but let's see.
flash info (13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): There are some things we need to adjust already but I'm happy to be here and have some fun.
flash info (99 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): It is incredible it is a dream come true. I'm so excited to start. I was a bit nervous to start but all good.
flash info (5 - Pajari Sami / Salminen Marko): It is nice to be back it has not been such a.long break but nice to be back. Some nice conditions on the shakedown. It will most likely be a tricky rally.
flash info (16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): I'm very excited to be at the start of Monte Carlo and it is very special event for me, it is almost a home rally. I want to enjoy it and get a better result than last year. I am also trying studded tyres, not good for this conditions obviously.
flash info (18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): New season, fresh mind. I will try to deliver the results. This is a big year for me. I'm quite happy and feeling confident.
flash info (11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): It is not the best conditions for now. Nobody really knows what the weather is bringing. It is going to be very demanding. I just wanted to get a feeling on the studded tyres. It is just about getting the feeling.
flash info (33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): Typical Monte ahead and nobody is really sure what to expect. It looks particularly challenging.
flash info (1 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): I'm happy to be here like always, it is special place. The sunshine today might be the last of the week. It will be a tricky rally ahead and let's see what the weather brings. At least the car looks amazing.
Weather in Gap is sunny, roads are dry, temperature around 6°C.
