Definitely coming out of service I did not expect to be leading tonight. I’m absolutely gutted for Calle, he was ahead of us all and deserves to be sitting here as leader tonight but that’s rallying. We kept our noses clean and made a few changes after service and the feeling is a bit more comfortable in the car. I definitely won’t be sleeping tonight because the stages are a lot more difficult than they were today. They’re bumpy, even more narrow with loose gravel so the rally is definitely not over yet. | |

I’m so enjoying it. We didn’t rally a lot this year because we were struggling with the budget and also with the time because of work. But I’m so grateful we were able to get the budget for the Barum Rally and compete here in ERC because this car is incredible and I still think we have plenty of space howe we can use this car. | |

I’m very happy because the stages were very tough and the conditions were getting worse and worse with many tricky places. The first and second stages on the second loop were quite good for us. We lose some time, but the rally is still going. Bunč was very hard on the gravel section and we started to catch the car in front and could not see the road because of the dust. Tomorrow is another day but we try to win this for sure. We have a good gap so we try to take it. | |

It happened quite early so it was a bit of a gamble if I should stop or continue. Clearly we should have stopped and changed the wheel. It was super rough so I'm not surprised. | |

Nothing I was in the middle of the road, it is just too rough. One pass is nice but two passes, it was like Cyprus, it was too rough. We either have incredible days or difficult days but unfortunately it has been one of those difficult days. | |

I definitely would have taken that this morning. The stages today have really suited me and the car and tomorrow’s stages will suit me too. I’m surprised how much rougher it got in the gravel section so I was taking it a bit easier. It is a really good run and everyone has done a great job today and we are looking forward to tomorrow. | |

That stage was very difficult. There was quite big ruts and I tried to avoid a puncture. We enjoyed the day and everything was working quite well despite the times. I would like to be much closer than I am but another day is ahead of us so we will try to push tomorrow. | |

I think I have enough experience, I’m not getting nervous because I love this sport and when everything is working well it is a passion. We are waiting for the other guys behind especially Simon Wagner and Erik Cais as well so nothing is won. Tomorrow will be an even more tricky day. | |

It was better in some places but in my opinion this gravel now with the ruts, it was not an acceptable risk for me. I slowed down there quite a lot. It is not good that we lost eight seconds but it is according to my strategy. It would be not good if we got a puncture. | |

It is a great feeling. It is thanks to all the guys who are helping us and especially the team that is making great effort this year. The stage was ok. I think we had a great run. The problem was in the gravel part that was so rutted and I was so afraid about the punctures so maybe I took it a little bit too careful but it is ok like this. It is like a dream to be fighting with Mr Barum here at his home rally so we must be proud. | |
