flash info (22 - Greensmith Gus / Andersson Jonas): The car's working very well, no complaints there. I have a brilliant engineer from Škoda and he makes things much easier for me.
flash info (21 - Ciamin Nicolas / Roche Yannick): We're just taking it slowly. I know we can not match Oliver's speed so far, but maybe in the future! That's the strategy for the whole rally.
flash info (20 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): Not perfect. I was playing it safe, and the car was not nice to drive in there. There are so many bumps and the car is very high, it gets very stiff.
flash info (19 - Serderidis Jourdan / Miclotte Fréderic): I enjoyed it. It's very technical, it's quite intensive, but a god start to the day.
flash info (13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): It's really rough, it's difficult to have an idea of how fast you can go. I'm not so comfortable with the car - I am asking the car to turn and it never happens. The goal is to finish and get through, for sure things are going to happen. We're just trying to take it smart and step by step we can improve the pace.
flash info (69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): I don't want to say any really bad words but it was horrible. The car is understeering so much, I don't understand how we can do any time on this stage. We need to improve.
flash info (18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): It's tricky enough, but the second pass will be harder. I had a careful drive but it's okay, there's still a long way to go.
flash info (4 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): It was an okay stage. But we have massive understeer. I don't know if we can make it better. The times would be better if the car would be better for me.
flash info (8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): Generally low grip, somehow really struggling. Very hard at the moment, the car is not working at all.
flash info (16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): It was much slippier than I expected, I am just struggling with the car to be in the lines. But it's only the first stage of the rally, so no worries.
flash info (33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): Everything's fine, but not a good feeling in fairness. I'm struggling with the balance - not what we expected after shakedown but, okay, we can improve.
flash info (11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): This first stage is a reminder of how hard it's going to be this weekend. I was struggling with a lot of understeer through there and once we got to the downhills I was really struggling. It's really difficult in there.
