INFORMATION ABOUT SS 1
flash info (44 - Lie-Nilsen Herman / Halland Vegard): It's feel good to start the rally. I hope we are ready for tomorrow, it will be a nice day.
flash info (43 - Hallberg Patrik / Stigh John): It was good, in Sweden we drive the old Volvo round the roundabout, we have good knowledge of that!
flash info (41 - Zanin Mattia / De Guio Elia): It was a really funny stage, I enjoy it a lot. It's good because we saw the time of McRae before. The race is tomorrow, there is Herman Lie-Nilsen and Patrik Hallberg behind that will be fast.
flash info (40 - Nerobutto Geronimo Ermanno / Angeli Alessio): I don't want to risk, the race is tomorrow so I'm going to sleep.
flash info (39 - Herczig Patrik / Varga Kristóf): It was really good, I really enjoyed it. You need to be really careful in the last asphalt section, but other than that all good.
flash info (38 - Sei Karl-Markus / Leotoots Martin): Great news, I didn't expect that kind of a result. We were taking it really carefully. We have two long days ahead and this really means nothing actually.
flash info (37 - Pesavento Davide / Zanella Flavio): Quite good preparation, this is a very short stage. The race is tomorrow, we cannot wait to start tomorrow.
flash info (36 - Schulz Timo / Wenzel Michael): The real rally starts tomorrow, that was a cool stage for the spectators. It is a long day ahead.
flash info (35 - Carlberg Calle / Eriksen Jørgen): I don't want to do something stupid in front of all these amazing Swedish fans. A little bit too careful, but important to beat Mille [Johansson], he will hear that for a little while!
flash info (34 - Müller Liam / Hirsch Alexander): I hope that we come into the top six on this rally, it's very fast but I think it makes a lot of fun.
flash info (33 - Polášek Daniel / Omelka Zdeněk): It's the best way to spend my birthday, incredible. I am so happy, what else could you wish for?
flash info (32 - Raftery Aoife / McKillop Hannah): It's great to be third in the championship coming here, but the stages are really fast, they look really fun so we're looking forward to it.
flash info (31 - McRae Max / Fair Cameron): We had a but of a two wheel moment, but we're still here and that's the main thing. Bit of a tricky stage to start but I'm very glad to finish that.
flash info (30 - Johansson Mille / Grönvall Johan): It feels really good to be here, it is one of the highlights of the year, we are leading the championship also which is nice. Me and McRae showed great pace in the shakedown, so hopefully it will be a weekend of good battles.
flash info (29 - Charpentier Tristan / Barral Florian): It went pretty well, it was a bit more narrow than on the shakedown. The car felt really good and we just had fun.
flash info (28 - Ravenščak Martin / Ravenščak Dora): It was an okay run, I am happy. Tomorrow, the rally starts.
flash info (27 - Kohn Filip / Woodburn Tom): Tricky stage, took it easy and we want to push on tomorrow.
flash info (26 - Kazaz Kerem / Mālnieks Andris): Not a push, just a clean stage. We need to keep everything good for tomorrow, tomorrow is everything.
flash info (25 - Widłak Igor / Dymurski Daniel): I don't like these stages, you can lose everything on them and win nothing, I am happy to be here though.
(16 - Solberg Petter / Andersson Jonas): fire under car in stop control
flash info (3 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): It was just clean, it started raining in the beginning! I took it easy. Tonight doesn't matter, it's tomorrow with the forest action.
flash info (4 - Franceschi Mathieu / Malfoy Andy): Sometimes it is better to close the mouth.
(4 - Franceschi Mathieu / Malfoy Andy): stalled engine on start
flash info (1 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): It was a very sedate drive, very smooth and certainly wasn't on the limit and could have been a lot quicker, we look forward to tomorrow now.
flash info (2 - Llarena Efrén / Fernandez Sara): I feel okay, it is quite difficult, especially the last part. Here we can lose more than the win, so let's see for tomorrow.
flash info (5 - Tempestini Simone / Itu Sergiu): I expected a bit more grip, when I hit the limiter I hit [the donut in first gear] like that.
flash info (7 - Armstrong Jon / Treacy Eoin): It was a pretty good stage, I messed up the last corner before the roundabout, missed the line and went too deep. The setup was good and we're looking forward to starting tomorrow.
flash info (8 - Marczyk Miko / Gospodarczyk Szymon): Not a great drive from my side, I was trying too much, especially on the gravel part. Tomorrow we start the proper race and I hope for a big push for the morning.
flash info (9 - Mabellini Andrea / Lenzi Virginia): It's already full of sprays of rain! For the moment, it is all okay, we enjoyed it and tomorrow we will begin the very big rally. We don't have the perfect starting position but we will do our best.
flash info (10 - Østberg Mads / Barth Patrik): Bauhaus have all the tools I want in there, I hope they will give a tool bag for the longest jump on Colin's. I need a big jet washer.
flash info (11 - Mareš Filip / Bucha Radovan): We had a small issue with an oil hose leaking, but we managed it to the start. We took it really easy, the stage was really tricky especially in the forest. We are here now though.
flash info (12 - Costenaro Giacomo / Ometto Pietro Elia): It was really good stage for spectators, but tricky for competitors. It was fun and good.
flash info (14 - Sesks Mārtiņš / Francis Renārs): It was a bit slippery! Is there any damage? I went a little bit wide, I knew that there was more space but yeah, it's fine!
flash info (15 - Heikkilä Mikko / Temonen Kristian): I was really careful, the main thing is we are here. The donut was not a good success - I hope it wasn't on TV.
flash info (17 - Larsen Frank Tore / Lundgreen Lars-Håkon): I was most nervous for the roundabout on this rally, I was happy I got a pretty nice drift!
flash info (18 - Brynildsen Eyvind / Listerud Jørn): I always push, I enjoyed it quite a lot. The tricky last section was quite fun. It's a good start to the rally and no big mistakes. It's good to go through these stages because now we can start the rally and... breathe!
flash info (19 - Reiersen Isak / Gustavsson Stefan): It's not easy! So narrow, easy to mistakes. We are through and have a home rally in front of us.
flash info (20 - Kristoffersson Johan / Skjærmoen Stig Rune): It's liking being around the parking lot, was a good stage very tricky. We tried to stay calm and not making any mistakes. Lacking a bit of power compared to a rallycross car, but a good night sleep now and look forward to tomorrow.
flash info (21 - Gustafsson Kalle / Nilsson Magnus): We are trying to do the same this year, the competition is higher this year so we will do a best. The starting position is not great, but we'll do our best.
flash info (22 - Haglund Christoffer / Johansson Johan): It was quite fun, a little tricky in the forest but it was okay. Did you enjoy the roundabout section?
flash info (23 - Allen Philip / Furniss Dale): Stalled, a gear too high and it didn't work! There's more to be lost than gained, we are where we are. I think it is me, not the new car!
(23 - Allen Philip / Furniss Dale): stalled engine on start
flash info (24 - Cuzma Bogdan / Dorca Florin): We were expecting something more slippery, it was good grip at one point then it just disappeared.
Weather in Karlstad is cloudy and rainy, temperature around 15°C.
