INFORMATION ABOUT SS 8 | |
(41 - Leckey James / McAuley Stephen): was out of road
(25 - Linnamäe Georg / Morgan James): t was obviously quite tricky again, but compared to the previous stage, that was nothing! It was good fun.
(24 - Joona Lauri / Hussi Janni): Actually, it was more slippery than yesterday, but it was ok. It wasn't the best one with these tyres, but we are safely through. Tomorrow will be another day and I think the conditions will be better. We're trying to push.
(23 - Lindholm Emil / Hämäläinen Reeta): We just had a misfire on the first straight, but apart from that it was fine. We got to enjoy some sideways action!
(22 - Pajari Sami / Mälkönen Enni): I think not all that was on this stage - constantly throughout the loop we were losing some parts! But that was a really tricky one.
(21 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): That's quite cool. It wasn't really a clean stage but I attacked anyway. Third place in a WRC2 car is incredible, and here on my home rally there's such a spectacular atmnosphere. It's a bit of a dream and I'm very happy, but the main goal is WRC2 and we are leading by quite a lot, so I'm very happy with the day.
(20 - Gryazin Nikolay / Aleksandrov Konstantin): The second pass [of the stage] was better. The road was cleaned, so it was not a disaster like previous stages, but still some places were slippery because the snow is still coming down. The car jumped really nicely - I think this is the best car for jumping. I took the jump really high and feel a little bit faint now. The car can for sure manage the jump, but maybe for us it was a bit over the limit!
(37 - Bertelli Lorenzo / Scattolin Simone): I came here expecting nice sun, weather, a nice layer of ice and packed snow. With such a small amount of time in the car, I couldn't really push more than this. I tried to manage it and get through. Tomorrow, I will try to push a bit more.
(4 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): For sure we need to take the confidence from today and stay concentrated for the rest of the rally. I wasn't too slow against Kalle Rovanperä in the beginning, so I'm fairly satisfied with that and in the afternoon, we used our road postion like we should.
(13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): There was no grip at all. At the first junction I went straight, pulled the handbrake and lost quite a lot of time. It wasn't perfectly efficient. It's been a crazy day and I'm just happy we got through. The weather guys said it would be driving like Star Wars. I've never seen the movie, but now I know!
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): Of course I tried, but a bit too much, making mistakes and overshooting a bit. There are still two days to go, so let's focus on tomorrow. I will be pushing!
(16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): I expected much better conditions in that stage. The grip was quite low and I overshot twice.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): I just tried to get through the day and end it on a good note. It was quite a good stage and now I'm looking forward to another day tomorrow - hopefully trouble-free so we can enjoy it a bit more!
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): The grip was really, really low - really quite different to last night. I guess it'll be the same story as the afternoon - it's going to get better with every car, but it's like that. |
