INFORMATION ABOUT SS 2 | |
(51 - Kunisawa Mitsuhiro / Kihara Masahiko): retired in SS 2
(44 - Shinkai Tomoyuki / Ando Yuichi): retired before SS 2
(25 - Greensmith Gus / Andersson Jonas): Not easy for sure, the grip is changing quite a bit. Some places it was alright but some places there was quite a bit of time left in places there. I would have said four soft would be the best in there but the guys with the hards made it look easy.
(24 - McErlean Joshua / Fulton James): Experience is huge in there to know when corners open and tighten. First pass, fresh notes obviously. We are here, there is a lot to learn. You want hard tyres, you want soft, I think you need a compromise for the whole stage but we have a mixed pattern so let's see what we can do with it.
(23 - Solans Jan / Sanjuán Rodrigo): It is quite tricky with the changes, gravel crew did great pace notes and I think we need to look at the brakes.
(22 - Kajetanowicz Kajetan / Szczepaniak Maciej): Not easy. Maybe we have bad memories from this stage so that was safe choice. The hard compound is working here. The feeling is there. We are happy to be here, I am a little bit surprised because I found some fun from the driving but I am sure the time is a disaster. I did not forget about the crash from 2022.
(29 - Yamamoto Yuki / Salminen Marko): puncture
(21 - Gryazin Nikolay / Aleksandrov Konstantin): I am not sure it was the correct tyre decision, it was okay but just scary. I tried to be fast on the muddy sections. I had a few moments. On the next stages I will feel better for sure, I need to check the car and continue. Just need to check everything and be clean.
(20 - Pajari Sami / Mälkönen Enni): If the time is good then it is fine, but I found it quite tricky. Didn't really have a good flow on the stage, I was mentally struggling in there. It is always tricky to manage the pace, it is super demanding. It is not even raining but the grip is not there.
(9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Eriksen Torstein): We went straight in a corner, then I was stuck with the car and couldn't get back on, we lost 10sec there. But it is so messy on the stage, no grip and to make sure you get to the finish you have to go very slow. It was full of mud, not easy.
(9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Eriksen Torstein): was out of road
(13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): We took soft tyres, but it is the wrong choice because the surface is giving a lot of understeer.
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): I have ideas where it came from. Not nice.
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): puncture
(17 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): The first few corners were very slippery and I was understeering.
(16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): It's all okay but there are a lot of leaves on the road, which makes it not normal and the corners are tricky. I've got to go.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): Struggling, otherwise it was okay. Quite tricky conditions.
(8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): It's tricky, it is difficult to know what the tyres will do, it is quite abrasive. Tried to save them. The weather is dry, that is why it is hard.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): Less leaves than expected, I tried to have a clean run.
(17 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): stopped on stage to change punctured wheel
Start of stage was delayed for 8 minutes.
Start of the stage will be delayed.
