INFORMATION ABOUT SS 6 | |
(57 - Šekuljica Slaven / Petrović Damir): retired after SS 6
(27 - Greensmith Gus / Andersson Jonas): accident with cow in SS 6
(17 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): Team statement: It looks like Seb has lost the boost pressure from the turbocharger. We had Elfyn's car this morning with the same symptoms. With Elfyn, we know what the root cause is, and with Seb at the moment we are assuming it's something similar - but until we get the cars back here we can't say for sure. It's a huge disappointment because clearly it's another rally after Finland where we have really strong performance in the car, and in Finland we didn't capitalise on that. It looks like here, again, we're not going to capitalise on the potential performance that both the car and the drivers have. At the moment it's a disappointment, but Seb has done an amazing job in the last stage to lose much less time than we expected.
(21 - Rossel Yohan / Barral Florian): For the finish of the day is a bit hard, the positive is to start behind tomorrow. I think I have improved the speed of the car and my co-driver did a good job for the race in WRC2. It is so hard because we gave everything, but I think it is the same for some guys and it is still long.
(20 - Pajari Sami / Mälkönen Enni): We started the day with a puncture immediately, obviously it has been really rough, there's so many different types of road and the grip is changing a lot. It is a demanding rally for sure, but it is good to be top. It's a long rally, no time for any celebrations yet.
(19 - Serderidis Jourdan / Miclotte Fréderic): We start very slowly, too slowly. Not a good rhythm. We improved during the day and didn't face any issue till now. We started to build good speed throughout the day.
(21 - Rossel Yohan / Barral Florian): puncture
(13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): We didn't have the handbrake once again, sometimes you hit with the side wall because you cannot make the car turn. Front right puncture and the rear left is delamination. Delamination, plus no handbrake - I'm just happy we are here.
(6 - Sordo Dani / Carrera Cándido): It's not nice, but the others have problems. It is part of the job. Difficult rally, some of the drivers have problems, some of them make mistakes. We have had a strong rally. We will see like this.
(13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): puncture
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): Just managing something small, pretty rough in there.
(8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): We need to be very grateful for a trouble-free day, it has been very difficult with the temperature and roughness. It's been a very good day but we all know what's coming.
(17 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): There was not much we could do, turbo is broken. That is motorsport sometimes. It's not the day we were hoping for.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): It wsas okay, the roughest stage of the day was the last one. Still fighting the balance, had some brake issues. Not a very clean run, but at least there was some ruts I could lean on. Very challenging day, did what we could with our position. We have seen a lot of problems for everyone, so it could have gone much worse for us. With the position we are in, we are good.
(17 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): problems with turbo |
