INFORMATION ABOUT SS 19
flash info (69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): It has been too long coming, but finally we are back. I have to say a big thank you to Jonne and the team. They have been pushing all the time and going forward. I also have to give a good thank you to my very good friend Artu. I have been having a hard time since the end of last year personally, and he has been pushing me to come back.
flash info (6 - Sordo Dani / Carrera Cándido): It's very nice. I think we drove very well. I want to say thanks to Craig Breen because he was with me for the whole rally and pushing me to the limits.
flash info (4 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): Smoke coming from the car. Maybe it's the turbo! I could smell it...
flash info (8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): Very demanding weekend, obviously. It was challenging and we have some great weaknesses at the moment which we need to get sorted. It's a big challenge for the next two weeks to get these things done. On the second loop in the rough conditions it's not really working for us but I will hand it over to the engineers to work on. I managed my toughness so it's up to them now.
flash info (7 - Loubet Pierre-Louis / Gilsoul Nicolas): We can be disappointed about the final result. We did our best on Friday and Saturday but I did a small mistake with big consequences. We will take the fact that the pace was good on Friday and let's build on that.
flash info (18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): To be honest I was a little bit of a chicken before the jump! Of course, after Friday's issue it was not so easy to clean the road but the car was fantastic and the team did a really good job. Now I am really hoping that Kalle finishes the rally and the team gets a good result.
flash info (20 - Greensmith Gus / Andersson Jonas): That's a bit close.
flash info (21 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): I tried anyway. I drove too slow on the long stage, but we'll see. It's been a great weekend really - very consistent and with good speed again. I hope I can win because second place is not really worth it right now. It's really a shame about everything that happened but that's how it is.
flash info (24 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Eriksen Torstein): It feels good to be on the podium, but obviously disappointing with the first day. We changed the set-up a little bit today to try and test the car for Sardinia. I am still struggling with the feeling in the new car compared to the old one but we are getting there.
flash info (26 - Rossel Yohan / Dunand Arnaud): My feeling is the same today but it's like that. This weekend was not bad for the championship but we need to work on the car - I have no grip when the surface is very loose.
flash info (23 - Suninen Teemu / Markkula Mikko): There is always some time left on a stage and I was struggling a little bit with the rear, there were no clean ruts. The rally was super - all really good for us and the pace was on a good level.
flash info (35 - Bulacia Marco / Vallejo Diego): It was a pretty good weekend. We had some issues over the past three days but this is normal in a very tough rally. Today we have been carrying an issue but we were still able to be more or less on the pace.
flash info (37 - McErlean Joshua / Rowan John): It's been good to be back in the car this weekend after the past few months. I think the rally community was a bit broken after the passing of Craig, but I hope there's some sense of happiness with these flags back on these cameras.
flash info (11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): That's obviously what rallying is all about - ups and downs. It's one of the most cruel sports in the world and sometimes we have to face situations like this. I want to give a big applause to the organisers, they have done an incredible job, and the spectators as well.
Starting order: Neuville, McErlean, Bulacia, Suninen, Rossel, Mikkelsen, Solberg, Greensmith, Katsuta, Loubet, Tänak, Lappi, Sordo, Rovanperä
