INFORMATION ABOUT SS SHAKEDOWN
(68 - Meeke Kris / Fulton James): Time in run 1 was 3:35,8, but he had jump start.
(27 - Zaldivar Fabrizio / Der Ohannesian Marcelo): There was a huge rock in the middle of the line on a really fast corner. It was either go into the trees or hit the rock. A bad start to the rally, but we will keep fighting and try to do our best.
(25 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): I really like Portugal - the atmosphere and spectators are amazing. It was quite tricky in here. We had a big rock in the middle of the road and it pushed me out of the stage, I didn't expect it.
(24 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Eriksen Torstein): It's nice to be back in a competitive environment and it feels like a long time since Greece last year! But of course we have stayed fit - we have been testing and we have been in the car a lot.
(23 - Suninen Teemu / Markkula Mikko): I don't know where it came from... maybe a jump landing or something, but I didn't feel anything. We have room to improve but it was quite okay.
(20 - Greensmith Gus / Andersson Jonas): It was a new ditch this year and I had it in my notes. We were just too fast and touched the bank. Oh well!
(20 - Greensmith Gus / Andersson Jonas): damaged rear right wheel
(22 - Gryazin Nikolay / Aleksandrov Konstantin): A big thanks to the team, they really did a good job. It was not as bad as the photos, luckily! Now we just need to do one more pass to check everything is working good. We are not trying to load the tyres because we are trying to save them for the next days.
(21 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): I have some experience - I have done this rally two times before. It's still going to be a very tricky weekend - they are great roads but very rough, and you need to be careful for punctures. I think that is the key this weekend - to be clean.
(26 - Rossel Yohan / Dunand Arnaud): I think I am happy to be back on gravel, it's a surface where you can take a lot of pleasure if you are confident. The plan is to take some points from this rally and we will see what happens, there is a lot of competition this weekend.
(7 - Loubet Pierre-Louis / Gilsoul Nicolas): Nice, rough, fast! A bit of everything. We are really happy to be here and we will enjoy. We have a good road position so we will try to do our best and push to the maximum on Friday. It's a long rally, so let's see.
(6 - Sordo Dani / Carrera Cándido): Everything is possible. I don't know the time, but I feel really good with the car. It's only shakedown but I have good feelings. It's always nice to come here to Portugal - there's a special feeling with all the Spanish and Portuguese fans. It's so nice.
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): It's never easy in this competition. Wer will just try to avoid problems and, for sure, I will try to do my best and push as hard as I can. Let's see what's going to happen.
(4 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): smoke from the car on stop line
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): After losing the lead in Croatia with a mistake, I definitely want to fight for victory this weekend and bring it home. It's going to be a challenging event - we need to stay out of trouble and benefit from our better road psoition tomorrow.
(8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): It will be a fight, there's no question! The challenge is hard for us on gravel. Let's see how far we can get, we need to try hard!
(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): It has been too long since the last win. Of course it will not be easy to start second on the road, but last year we started first! We will try to do a good job this weekend and hopefully fight for the win.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): It will be probably pretty tough. We know the story on these dry gravel rallies, but it's like that. We have to make the most of Friday, but it wont be an easy day - probably the roughest day of trhe rally. |
