INFORMATION ABOUT SS 10
(20 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): puncture
(30 - Virani Aakif / Bhatti Azhar): retired after SS 10
(28 - Díaz Aboitiz Miguel / Sanjuán Rodrigo): retired in SS 10
(17 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): Some sections were very slippy and I was very cautious to be honest. On the last section with the stones it's so easy to damage anything anywhere
(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): I think we could push a bit more but for sure Seb is pushing a lot for this win. In our case we need to think about the championship also, because the guys in the championship are much more behind and the good points are coming.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): I don't think we were having a particularly good stage before that either...
(4 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): It was okay. I mean, we were never really on the limit, but these muddy places - wow! I have never experienced anything like this before. When you see the puddles and mud, you brake like absolutely everything and then you see if you survive. If the road is narrow you will hit everything!
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): One section is proper Rally Kenya spec. Sometimes you are not in control, the car was just going everywhere because of the mud and the water. Not so easy!
(6 - Sordo Dani / Carrera Cándido): It was really slippery in some places with a lot of muddy places. In the really fast corners the car was completely sideways with no control, but this I enjoyed a bit. The last part was really rough but it's okay.
(8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): It is a challenge to get through for sure. It was so muddy that I ran out of washer fluid so I had no visibility for the last 20km. It's what a Safari should be.
(7 - Loubet Pierre-Louis / Gilsoul Nicolas): On a junction, I go straight. It was not a hard corner but I reversed and lost quite a lot of time, actually. My wiper after that was not working and I could not see anything, it was terrible.
(9 - Serderidis Jourdan / Malfoy Andy): It's not Sleeping Warrior, it's Sleeping Hell! Some parts are extremely slippery and we hit a tree. Not a big one and not so fast, I don't know what the damage will be.
(7 - Loubet Pierre-Louis / Gilsoul Nicolas): was out of road
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): I was enjoying, but I have no pressure and I don't need to push. Obviously we are making the line as well in all the mud so it's very tough. The guys behind are going to suffer a lot - they're going to have to push, and in these conditions it's not very easy. |
