INFORMATION ABOUT SS 16
(8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): It's been another short day, but we have been consistent. There is not much more that we could do but I am not completely comfortable so I am not willing to push more. We need to finish - that's the main target for tomorrow.
(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): We changed the setup on the car a bit so that it was not understeering so much. This helped me to preserve the tyres better and worked for the last forest stage. Tomorrow will be difficult - Seb has driven here many times in a WRC car and for me it will be my first time. We will try our best and see what happens.
(17 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): I'm not unhappy - I think the last real stage this morning was not the best but other than that we had a good day. I felt pretty good in the car the whole weekend and I think when you see what Elfyn is doing it's even better. For our championship, this is still a good position to be in. We will push until the end and I think the conditions will be quite tricky tomorrow.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): It's been a good day for us and we're happy with what we've managed to do. Who knows what tomorrow will bring - hopefully we can find the same rhythm that we've had over the past two days. We'll just try and do the best job that we can tomorrow - it's a long stage and you can easily lose a lot of time if you don't gel with the conditions.
(4 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): It's been a good day for us - like I said, we have managed to improve the settings slightly. I can be really pleased with my driving in general today and I know we can use these settings on gravel in the next event which is good.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas): It has gone quite well - we tried to be clever and not make any silly mistakes but it's always disappointing when you are not on the podium. We had a good start yesterday and were able to keep up until yesterday evening. Today was a little different, but I think we've done everything we can.
(16 - Breen Craig / Nagle Paul): It's been a mixture of good and bad - obviously it takes some time to get going and I dropped too much time in the first stage this morning. I'm a part-timer, especially when it's such a specialist rally like this then you have to be in the car all of the time. We'll just try and bring it home tomorrow.
(3 - Suninen Teemu / Lehtinen Jarmo): It was just like yesterday. The first two stages were okay but I lost some time in the third stage with some slides. We need to analyse the rally well and see what we are doing wrongly.
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Barritt Daniel): It's my first experience of being first on the road. On SS7, there was a lot of loose snow and we struggled with the grip. I still have to work on my driving but we are going in the right direction, so I'm happy. |
