INFORMATION ABOUT SS 5
flash info (44 - Bonato Yoann / Boulloud Benjamin): We are on the mountain of hell.
flash info (43 - Andolfi Fabio / Fenoli Manuel): Not so good for us. We have an electronic problem with the gearbox.
flash info (42 - Chuchała Wojciech / Rozwadowski Sebastian): A big problem because I could not see anything - the windscreen was completely steamed up. Very easy to hit rocks here.
flash info (38 - Ptaszek Hubert / Szczepaniak Maciej): This is only the morning of the first day so I am taking it carefully. I've never driven in conditions like this. This is a good warm up for GB.
flash info (36 - Heller Pedro / Olmos Pablo): We were doing a very good rally but here we hit a bale and lost a lot of time. We will continue.
flash info (35 - Greensmith Gus / Parry Craig): The boot opened. I couldn't hear a single thing and I overshot one corner. Terrible. A stupid mistake but ok, it's happened now.
flash info (32 - Guerra Benito / Cue Daniel): We were a bit confused in the pace notes at the beginning here.
flash info (34 - Veiby Ole Christian / Skjærmoen Stig Rune): For sure happy to be leading. This was the most difficult stage of the day so far. In some places I had no control - unbelievable.
flash info (31 - Tidemand Pontus / Andersson Jonas): It's been difficult and I've struggled to find a good rhythm. So much rain in there that the wipers couldn't go fast enough. Aquaplaning everywhere. The last time I drove in conditions like this was in Wales.
flash info (15 - Suninen Teemu / Markkula Mikko): Getting muddier and muddier all the time. At least service now will give us a small break.
flash info (9 - Lefebvre Stéphane / Moreau Gabin): A horrible stage. I went off a bit. After that I just tried to keep the car on the road.
flash info (7 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Jæger Anders): We tried to push a bit but in a right-hander we went out a bit and hit a tree stump. That's it basically.
(9 - Lefebvre Stéphane / Moreau Gabin): was out of road
(7 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Jæger Anders): damaged wheel
flash info (11 - Hänninen Juho / Lindström Kaj): Nothing special. Muddy sections and really fast. Sometimes my braking was on the limit.
flash info (4 - Paddon Hayden / Marshall Sebastian): The first section wasn't bad. The rain had almost stopped but then it started again and the surface was immediately more muddy and slippery. Conditions should be more consistent for all of us this afternoon.
flash info (8 - Breen Craig / Martin Scott): I'm gutted, absolutely gutted. We wanted a good rally here. It's a shame it happened so early. The other guys will have the benefit of a high-speed pass this morning. We were in road mode.
flash info (3 - Evans Elfyn / Barritt Daniel): Tricky. Hard to know where the grip is. More of the same, really.
flash info (6 - Sordo Dani / Martí Marc): I spun. I arrived at a corner and there was no grip. When conditions are like this it is better to stay on the road. It is not very comfortable in there.
flash info (10 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): One wiper broke on stage four and is a little bit distracting. We changed them from side to side so my one is working.
flash info (2 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): I stalled on the start line. The engine was weak on the start. What can we do?
flash info (5 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas): Yeah, it was better. I was quite committed apart from one or two corners when I got the braking wrong. Otherwise I pushed hard in places - especially when I knew I would only go off into fields.
flash info (1 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): It's still quick here even if it's wet. A difficult morning for everyone I think but I expect the second loop will be harder. First on the road has been not such a bad position to be in, but it's still not been an easy morning.
