flash info (16 - Kubica Robert / Szczepaniak Maciej): It was good, no big drama’s, struggling with the grip but that is how it is. We are just driving and trying to enjoy. The conditions are not easy and struggling with the grip.
flash info (12 - Tänak Ott / Mõlder Raigo): Actually beginning was not so bad but at the end there was a lot of snow pulled on the road, really tricky. But I think we have a good rhythm, so not so bad.
flash info (10 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): Just taking it very easy, trying to feel our way into the conditions. One corner in 6 or 7 just throws you off.
flash info (4 - Sordo Dani / Martí Marc): Just confidence, in some places, was very slippery but I did not attack too much. I feel in the car we did not drive very well. Everything is different and it is really difficult.
flash info (5 - Østberg Mads / Fløene Ola): The conditions were quite tricky. My gravel notes were perfect but I struggled a bit. Now in stage mode I struggle a bit to understand my pace notes. It's going to take some time to get used to that.
flash info (3 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas): I got a lot of fog on the windscreen from the mid-stage so it was difficult to see. Dirty, the mud is coming onto the road so it is very slippery.
flash info (7 - Meeke Kris / Nagle Paul): The car is really good, really good feeling, but I had a spin near the start of the stage, on a hairpin. I dug in on the inside and I maybe lost 7 or 8 seconds. 7 or 8 seconds is not going to lose this rally so I am happy.
flash info (9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Jæger Anders): It was an good start, considering I was 50 seconds behind on this stage last year, it is a big improvement. Some black ice in places and some really tricky conditions.
flash info (2 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): Seb had a great stage, he had been driving really well. I did not take any risk. I would have been able to push more, it was not as slippery as I was afraid. I am happy for the start of the rally.

flash info (1 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): I was very cautious, The conditions are not too bad but some places are very slippery. For sure I could go faster, but I am here.
First part of stage is dry, then conditions are mixture of wet and damp. With temperature below zero, lot of chances for ice.
