The car is really good, really good feeling, but I had a spin near the start of the stage, on a hairpin. I dug in on the inside and I maybe lost 7 or 8 seconds. 7 or 8 seconds is not going to lose this rally so I am happy. | |

It was an good start, considering I was 50 seconds behind on this stage last year, it is a big improvement. Some black ice in places and some really tricky conditions. | |

Seb had a great stage, he had been driving really well. I did not take any risk. I would have been able to push more, it was not as slippery as I was afraid. I am happy for the start of the rally. | |
