The win is the best way to finish the year-that was the target. We wanted to enjoy it here. We started flat-out and we made a great difference, but after Jari-Matti had his problem my race changed and I had to control it. Not the best fun but I had to do it. When the conditions are like this it's not too bad. I'm so happy for Mikko to finish on the podium. It's a great achievement. | |

We tried to go reasonably ok but without taking any unnecessary risks. It was basically a case of being there incase anything happened to Neuville. It has been solid start, we have an excellent bank of experience to build on next year. Now I am in a good position to make progress next year. | |

There was a branch in the middle of the road and I could not avoid it. It was not what I wanted, it was a very difficult weekend. I really wanted to win the rally. The setup of my car was a bit too stiff and then I make mistakes. But I learned a lot and next year I know. | |
