All this morning has been very difficult. It is very difficult to do the launch control on this tarmac stage. I think I lose five seconds on the start. I hope the afternoon will be better than this morning. I am going to push in the afternoon. | |

I think the issue from the long stage is this hot temperature and long distance, but I think they will fix it in service. | |

Quite interesting to see where we are in this conditions. I had a few really good stages, now on this short one I tried to push. This afternoon definitely I will try some other things and we have to see if we can improve or not. This morning the roads had a lot of cleaning and this afternoon they have not. | |

In the start of the long stage, we were really lucky we did not get a second puncture there. We are in a good fight and we have to push a bit harder. | |

It's been an interesting morning, still a lot to learn and we are still here. We have to build on it this afternoon. We have not pushed too much. We need to look at improving the technique and hopefully the speed will come with that. | |

Quite tricky, some parts are just so slippery, some parts are not cleaning at all and you simply have no grip. I am still not completely comfortable, maybe on the second loop we can pick it up. | |

It is funny, we use a bike track on this stage, quite slow, quite a lot of hairpins. This morning, second on the road, difficult to use any lines. | |

It's been a really good morning, it has not been easy. I am not on a vacation in my office over here! For sure I am in a difficult position, but there will be a little bit of a line on the second loop. On the braking and the acceleration there will be some traction. For the privilege of being first on the road for sure you know there are no rocks on the road. | |
