INFORMATION ABOUT SS 14
flash info (16 - Salinas Romain / Micheli Benjamin): It's tough. This is the first time I drive on gravel, and also with unsuitable tyres. I learn little by little and it is really not easy. In the long stage we just lost the brakes on the end, not ideal for the confidence. A challenging loop.
flash info (27 - Michel Sylvain / Arlettaz Sandra): We attacked well in the Champex stage. It's more complicated on gravel because I am discovering the car on this surface. The long stage is difficult to manage because the downhill is completely dry. We made a good loop, we enjoyed ourselves.
flash info (22 - Reuche Laurent / Deriaz Jean): It was difficult. The “Les Cols” stage is a big one. I felt I was doing well. In the downhill part the tyres overheated, we were on intermediates while slicks might have been needed. The feeling when we got out of the stage was we had given everything, it's tough.
flash info (12 - Perroud Pascal / Marchand Quentin): We chose to go on snow tyres be sure to get to the finish. In all the wet parts it was great, we suffered a bit on the dry but for sure we enjoyed ourselves and I think we did a show.
flash info (5 - Ancian Jérémi / Vitrani Olivier): The morning had not started too bad. In the last stage there was a delay at the start, so it began to rain. We set off in the rain and we had a puncture losing three minutes. It's a shame but that's rallying.
flash info (18 - Gonon Florian / Horgnies Michel): All went well. In the first three stages I think I was ok with the soft tyres, but in the long one I struggled. And I might have done a false start in the long stage.
flash info (4 - Orsák Jaroslav / Kostka Lukáš): Everything ok. The stages are very nice but very difficult because there is a lot of mud. We are trying to improve our skills. We hit a stone in the last stage but it's okay, a lot of new experience.
flash info (9 - Althaus Nicolas / Ioset Alain): This morning we started with snow tyres in an attempt to catch Olivier Burri. On the whole loop the choice was not good. We limited the damage, trying to put slicks on the front in the third SS but it was not good at all. In the last stage we crossed the tyres and I think it was not too bad.
flash info (1 - Breen Craig / Vanneste Lara): The first three stages were not so bad. In the last one we pushed quite hard. Normally the time should be good, I am quite pleased with this morning. I have to say that the last stage is one of the most beautiful ones I have ever driven in my life, really fantastic. It's like having three completely different rallies in one stage, very beautiful.
flash info (7 - Gryazin Vasily / Chumak Dmitry): The first stage was tough as there was a lot of gravel. The long stage was very challenging. I am very happy with my speed, we continue to learn.
flash info (8 - Burri Olivier / Saucy Andre): We had a lot of concern over this loop, I did not test in the rain with this tyre and I was surprised. I think I could have won the first stage should I had have a little more self-confidence. After in the second stage we have changed some pace notes but we did well. The third was not too bad. In "Les Cols" I made a big mistake, I should have stiffened the car because I left it too soft. We did not find any rain and we were in agony from the first kilometers.
flash info (3 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): Not so bad, we just drove safely. It's very easy to make a mistake, now we have quite a big gap to second place and we can just drive safely. Aigner went off on the third corner of the long stage, there is a wooden bridge before the corner which is very slippery when wet, they went straight into the rocks. They are both OK, they walked back to the stage start. The front right end of their car is totally off.
retired (64 - Kaufmann Mathias / Lonfat Colin): accident in SS 14
(5 - Ancian Jérémi / Vitrani Olivier): changed tyre in stage
Rain started when stage was interrupted after Aigner's accident.
Stage was interrupted. Running again.
(9 - Althaus Nicolas / Ioset Alain): damaged front left wheel
retired (2 - Aigner Andreas / Watzl Barbara): accident in SS 14
(4 - Orsák Jaroslav / Kostka Lukáš): slightly broke rear right wheel
Roads reported to be drying out.
