(24 - Lefebvre Stéphane / Dubois Thomas): We drove well. We made a cautious tyre choice. We are trying to contain the second driver on a C2 who is behind us in class R2, for the moment all is well. | |
(22 - Reuche Laurent / Deriaz Jean): The day went well, but as usual in the “Casernes” stage something went wrong. We made no mistake but had a front right puncture without knowing why. It is a waste of time but tomorrow will be a long day, we have seen last year that it is possible to make up time but it is never pleasant to attack all day to gain time and lose it all in the “Casernes” stage. | |
(16 - Salinas Romain / Micheli Benjamin): The day went much better than yesterday. We gained confidence in the car and the roads which are a bit special. This is my first International rally, I have not done many events with the Megane and had to cope with all of this. Now it's okay. Tomorrow will be a long day with many parts on gravel and conditions which prove difficult. We will try to do well and to bring points to the Renault Sport team. | |
(27 - Michel Sylvain / Arlettaz Sandra): We changed the set-up of the car a little and we had a lot of fun on the stages this afternoon. We drove freely and we are here tonight, which is important. Tomorrow there is still a long day. | |
(12 - Perroud Pascal / Marchand Quentin): For me it went crescendo. Yesterday we had a small technical problem with the car, now it is fixed. For me it is above all an opportunity to get back in the action, with slightly difficult conditions as I had not been rallying since six months. To drive a Super 2000 in these conditions is not always straightforward, anyway I really enjoyed myself. | |
(18 - Gonon Florian / Horgnies Michel): In the afternoon I started to feel the car a little, to play around with it, but the stage times are not there. I do not know what is happening, I'm not very happy. The enjoyment is coming but the stage times do not follow. | |
(1 - Breen Craig / Vanneste Lara): Not so bad. I didn't have so much confidence in the second pass because in reality for me it was the first as this morning we didn't drive at full speed. It was unfortunate but okay, we're still here. | |
(4 - Orsák Jaroslav / Kostka Lukáš): A perfect day for me. This is my first start with this car and it's getting better and better every stage. The roads are very nice. | |
(5 - Ancian Jérémi / Vitrani Olivier): The afternoon went pretty smoothly. The conditions were a little better than this morning, and we drove much faster. I think the tyre choice was the same between the 10 compound and the 20 as Lappi chose was the same. His choice was better in the first stage, ours was in the others. On the whole of the loop we are happy. | |
(9 - Althaus Nicolas / Ioset Alain): The afternoon was worse than this morning. In the first special stage of the loop we tried something. We were faster than at the first pass but not enough compared to the others who have made good progress. It is also true that they did not know the rally as well as us. We are slightly further down than this morning but we drove well, that's something. | |
(7 - Gryazin Vasily / Chumak Dmitry): The afternoon was very good for me. I am really tired after this day, not physically but mentally. The stages are very fast and require a lot of concentration. I've never driven on roads like this. Tomorrow will be easier after today's exercise. I had the same situation in the recce; I had a bad headache after the first day and the second day was very easy, so I think it'll be better tomorrow. | |
(8 - Burri Olivier / Saucy Andre): I thought I had driven well in the first stage but I noticed that the others were much faster. We can see that they have the pace of the World Championship. In the second we did a little better while in the third one we lost time again. On the last SS the road was destroyed. This is a road position problem. I was already penalized yesterday by being eighth. Tomorrow the fight will not be by the second, but by 30sec per stage. The weather might be bad, and especially if we are not allowed to fit proper rain tyres I do not even know if I will restart. | |
(2 - Aigner Andreas / Watzl Barbara): Overall the day was fantastic. In the afternoon on the long stage things went as I had expected. I thought I would lose time in the morning as well but there we were really close. Finally I am very happy with the performance. A good fight with Esapekka, he did very good stage times in the afternoon. Tomorrow will for sure be a long day. If the stages are under 15 km everything is OK with the car, beyond that point it starts overheating and then it's not possible to push 120% anymore, just 110%. | |
(3 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): I had more confidence in the afternoon loop and the grip was better. We increased our pace a bit. We had no problems so it has been very enjoyable. |
